Jones, (804) 441-7358 Work includes dredging the channel across the ocean bar over a width of 200 feet to a depth of 15 feet MLW (NOS) plus 2 feet of allowable overdepth. The work shall be performed by a hopper dredge having not less than 1,000 cubic yards or more than 2,200 cubic yards of nominal hopper capacity and with the capability to operate in a minimum depth of 9 feet mean low water. The dredged materials shall be placed in the designated government-furnished overboard placement site only. The work involves dredging approximately 120,000 cubic yards of material, including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion. The payment quantity will be determined by the bin measurement method. Magnitude of project is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Duration of project is 60 calendar days.
