Lucas, Contracting Officer, 907/384-7105 or Facsimile 907/384-7112 (Site Code DAHC76) Provide an estimated amount of 10,000 cubic yards of fertile, friable, and natural topsoil on an ''as required'' basis during the period 1 May 1996 through 30 September 1996 to designated delivery sites located at Fort Richardson, Alaska. The soil is to be a mix of approximately fifty percent topsoil and fifty percent sand and is to be screened and free of brush, litter, clay, lumps, stones, stumps, roots, sticks, rocks, and other objects which meet a sieve analysis of 100 percent passing a one inch screen. Orders for delivery will be placed at least twenty-four hours in advance of requirement. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This requirement is for a base period, 1 May 1996 thru 30 September 1996, and one option period, 1 May 1997 thru 30 September 1997, that the Government may exercise in accordance with the contract terms.
