Colvin, Contracting Officer) The Navy has a requirement for 5 prototype, 28 Volt, DC Gearmotors (similar to MIL-M-8609), with an option for (75) additional gearmotors upon successful completion of the prototype. Options will be exercised during the next 3 fiscal years (quantity 25 each per fiscal year). The gearmotors will be used aboard tactical jet aircraft to drive avionics accessories which do not affect flight safety. A fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is unrestricted. Request for quote to be issued on or about 30 JAN 1996.
