This system will also be capable of tracking property control requirements as defined by FAR Part 45 and have interface capability with government support functions such as MILSTRIP. The system must also have a comprehensive vendor tracking capability for out sourced maintenance actions. This system will provide the enabling capability for employment of such concepts as maintenance requirements planning, capacity leveling, material requirements forecasting, JIT, EDI while providing a paperless maintenance management and inventory support infrastructure. Optimization and compatible interface with existing bar-coding technology is also a requirement. The system must also be capable of tracking requirements necessary for the control of hazardous materials at a level and depth sufficient for EPA compliance.
