70 -- DISK MEMORY AND CONTROLLERS SOL JM96-004 POC Jeff Marshall, LSO-360, Kennedy Space Center, FL 32899. Lockheed Martin Space Operations (LMSO), a NASA Prime Contractor at Kennedy Space Center, FL (KSC), seeks sources capable of providing Modcomp Systems, Inc. Modcomp II/45 Winchester (80MB) Disk/Controller and Bulk-Semiconductor (512KB) Memory/Controller replacement. The replacement Disk/Memory must be 19 inch rack mountable and the replacement Disk/Memory Controllers must mount in the Modcomp II/45 External Direct Memory Processor (XDMP) chassis. The replacement units must completely emulate the existing hardware and be veifiable 100% compatible with the Modcomp software. The original quantity to be procured is 12 each with potential options for additional units. The vendor must submit, for up to 90 days, one unit of each type for evaluation/validation prior to contract award. The vendor must deliver all 12 of each no later than 08/01/96, presuming a contract date of 05/01/96. This synopsis is for the sole purpose of identifying prospective sources and does not commit LMSO to make an award, nor to reimburse costs of data submitted in response.
