facsimile 907/384-7112 (Site Code DAHC76) Provide laboratory analyses
of samples of water, wastewater, paint chips, asbestos, and other
miscellaneous mixtures, collected by the Government from Forts
Richardson, Wainwright, and Greely, Alaska, in accordance with the
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methods and Alaska Department of
Environmental Conservation (ADEC) parameters, on an ''as required''
basis. Several tests require analysis and a report of test results
within regulatory time, 24 hours and 48 hours of sampling. The
Contractor must be capable of testing within all regulatory required
times. The Contractor must also be capable of picking up the collected
samples from the Government pick-up points within one (1) hour from
the time of Government notification. This requirement is for a one-year
base period, 1 March 1996 thru 28 February 1997, and four (4)
consecutive one-year option periods that the Government may exercise.
The Contract will include the ''Option to Extend Services'' clause
which permits the Government to extend services for up to 6 additional
months within the limits and at the rates specified in the Contract.
The Contractor must be certified by the Alaska Department of
Environmental Conservation (ADEC) and provide proof of this
certification with bid submittal. This acquisition is 100% set-aside
