The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to replace the existing vapor barrier and batt insulation at the underside of the corrugated metal roof deck of the new additon to the ADAL Precision measurement Equipment Lab, building 352, Scott Air Force Base, IL, with 4'' thick spray-on polyurethane foam isulation with a fifteen (15) minute thermal barrier. Total system shall provide a minimum thermal resistance of R-30. Principal items of work shall include the following: Remove, protect and store all existing ceiling tile from rooms 112 and 113. Dispose of all damaged ceiling tile. Remove and dispose of existing batt insulation and vapor barrier from bottom side of metal roof deck. Clean up all moisture from deck. Place temporary thermal blankets over top side of roof deck and apply heat to underside to dry and heat metal deck. Replace existing ceiling tile when condensation is eliminated; Apply 4'' of spray on foam insulation and a 15 munite thermal barrier to underside of roof deck. Furnish and install new ceiling tile as required to match ecisting. The magnitude od construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is set aside for small business only.
