McGlotten, (415)750-2163 The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, parts, and travel to provide medical transcription services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA. The transcription service is for dictated material which includes a high incidence of technicla terminology and requires a knowledge of specialized vocabularies. These medical reports will include, but are not limited to: Discharge summaries, Operative Reports, Compensation and Pension Examinations, History and Physicals, etc. Material is dictated by many different physicians requiring adaptation to variations in accent, speech, tone, voice volume, delivery, pronunciation and enunciation. Dictation shall be accomplished telephonically. Issue date: o/a 2/1/96. Bid Openning: o/a 3/1/96. The Period of Perfomance is 4/1/96 - 3/31/97 with four one-year options.
