Officer, Emily Durham (Site Code DACA87) Offerors shall provide all
services, personnel, materials, audio- visual aids, training aids and
travel and lodging for contractor personnel necessary to develop/update
and present a course of instruction for two sessions of the Masonry
Structures Design course as follows: 22-26 April 1996, Boulder,
Colorado and 17-21 June 1996, Boulder, Colorado. This course
familiarizes the engineer in design and construction practices
including criteria, procedures, and specifications for masonry
structures. The instructor staff shall consist of one qualified
instructor that has at least five years within the past eight of
experience working with masonry and structural applications. The
instructor (or staff member designated to revise the course materials)
shall have at least three years within the past five (one course
session minimum per year) teaching and/or assisting in conducting
courses/seminars and development of new course/seminar materials in
masonry and structural applications and shall have an earned masters
degree in civil engineering. Special requirements will be set forth in
the Request for Quotation scheduled to be issued on or about 1
February 1996. Copies of the solicitation shall be obtained by written
request without cost. One set of the course material may be obtained
from this office at a cost of $50.00 (non-refundable). Payment will be
made by certified check, cashier's check, or money order payable to:
Finance and Accounting Officer, USAESCH. Telephonic requests will not
be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall
be considered by the agency. The Standard Industrial Code applicable to
this acquisition is 8999. For the purpose of this solicitation, any
concern whose gross annual receipts over the past 3 years does not
exceed an average of $5,000,000 is considered a small business.
Contractor must furnish business size with written request (i.e., large
business, small business). This a total 100 percent small business
