MUNROE (601) 936-7618 (Site Code DAHA22) This is a presolicitation notice only for the construction of an approximately 9000 SY concrete apron to be used as a military aircraft holding bay adjacent to an existing taxiway located at the Mississippi Air National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center, and the Gulfport/Biloxi Regional Airport, Gulfport, Mississippi. The scope of work includes earthwork, 30-inch thick sand foundation fill, 6-inch crushed stone (platform) subbase, 6-inch econocrete base and 10-inch non-reinforced Portland cement concrete pavement. Also included is a 3-inch asphaltic concrete shoulder pavement on a 6-inch crushed stone base, pavement markings and seeding. Electrical work includes new buried concrete duct bank, primary circuit conduit installation, provision of aircraft ground rods, navigational aids and taxiway lighting. All work shall be accomplished according to the specifications and requirements of the Regional Airport Authority. Plans and specifications are not yet available. Construction dollar range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 under SIC 1611 (Hwy, $17 million). Construction timeframe is approximately 180 days. When responding, indicate size status. There will be a non-refundable deposit for each set of plans and specifications.
