The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) Point Mugu, CA intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract on a non-competitive basis with Texas Instruments, P. O. Box 405 M/S 3405, Lewisville, TX 75067 for repair of three (3) TTU-373B/E test sets which are used to test the Paveway II, Skipper and Paveway III guidance and control sections of the Laser Guided Bomb family of weapons. Texas Instruments specifically developed and designed the Paveway family of weapons as well as the TTU-373B/E test sets. The Navy does not possess a complete drawing package nor maintenance manuals on these test sets. Texas Instruments is the only firm with the complete technical knowledge, experience and data required for the evaluation and repair of these test sets. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The delivery date will be 9 months from date of award, FOB destination. The RFP will be released on or about 29 January 1996.
