The purchase description details the requirements for an ubbrlohde viscometer with pipet pump for use in the AFMETCAL liquid flow calibration program. This program involves measuring the kinematic viscosity of jet fuel prior to operation of calibration standards. The viscosity measuremnts must be NIST traceable. The viscosity meters shall cover a range from 0.8 to 4.0 CentiStokes. The requirement for this solicitaiton consists of an ubbelohde glass tube viscometer, stopwatch and pipet pump. The pipet pump shall be variable with a quick release lever. Travel cases must be provided for all equipment. Issue date will be approximately 18 Jan 96. Closing date will be approximately 16 Feb 96.
