This is an amendment to the Program Research and Development Announcement (PRDA) for the Advanced GPS Inertial Navigation Technology (AGINT) program. The PRDA was published 04 December 1995. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify and answer questions on the PRDA announcement. Proposals in response to this PRDA must be received no later than 30 January 1996, 3:00 P.M. Question-The requirements for the ATWGS require a conformal, small, surface mounted GPS weapon antenna. What are the maximum physical dimensions allowed for this antenna? Answer-The maximum physical dimensions for the ATWGS antenna are limited to mounting onto a 6 inch outer diameter ''bomb''. Question-The requirements for the ATWGS state that, ''It is desirable that the brassboard ATWGS technology allow for low unit production costs ($12K) to permit its adaptation and integration with cost-sensitive weapons systems.'' What is the government's estimate of the production quantities and delivery timeframes for ATWGS units? Answer-Production quantities are estimated to be 40,000 units to begin delivery in 2005. According to the latest publications, DID DI-FNCL-80909A is entitled ''Test/Inspection Reports'' and DID DI-MGMT-80909 is entitled ''Program Plan''. Which DID should be used? Answer-Test/Inspection Reports (DI-FNCL-80909A). Question-Item (k) ''Data Accession List/Internal Data'' is listed as DID DI-MGMT-81453 in the PRDA. According to the latest publications there is no current DID by that number, however, DI-3027A is still defined as the current DID for ''Data Accession List/Internal Data''. Should DI-A-3027A be used? Answer-Data Accession List/Internal Data, semiannually (DI-MGMT-81453) is correct as stated. Question-Item (m) ''Software Development Specification'' is listed as DI-IPSC-81433 in the PRDA. According to the latest publications, DI-IPSC-81433 is entitled ''Software Requirements Specification''. Is this the correct DID? Answer-Software Requirements Specification (DI-IPSC-81433/T). Question-Item (r) System/Segment Specification'' is listed as DI-CMAN-80534 in the PRDA. According to the latest publications, DI-CMAN-80534 is entitled ''System/Segment Design Document'' and DI-CMAN-80534 is entitled ''System/Segment Specification''. Which DID should be used?
