Primary activities may consist of the design of remedial systems for cleanup of sites under CERCLA. A majority of the remedial designs will be for the treatment of contaminated groundwater at grain storage sites formerly operated by the Commodity Credit Corporation, U.S. Department of Agriculture. Remediation of contaminated soils may also be required. Typical projects also could include providing alternate potable water supplies; modifications to public water systems and sewerage systems; and other alternatives to discharge treated groundwater.
