This is a sole-source acquisition to estabilish a Time and Material type requirements contract for technical support services to modify and maintain the receiver and antenna technologies for currently fielded and future army countemeasure radar warning systems which contain AEL proprietary components. The Government anticipates a sole-source acquisition with American Electronic Labs, Lansdale, PA, the original manufactuer since they are the only known source capable of maintaining and improving these receivers/antennas due to the proprietary and patents rights on these components.
