This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, travel and performing all operations required for the installation of an air conditioning system in the chapel building at Hanscom AFB to service the main sanctuary utilizing the existing under floor tunnels per contract drawings and specifications. The principle items of work include, but are not necessarily limited to asbestos abatement; removal and replacement of the present air handling units; installation of new ducting, new chiller and concrete pad plus associated pumps, expansion tank, chilled water and steam piping, associated wiring and accessories; floor grilles, controls and control wiring; system balancing; plus patching, carpentry, painting, and paneling necessary to restore interior and exterior appearance. The performance period for this project shall be 90 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This is a firm fixed price contract.
