Provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete project in accordance with the contract specifications and plans. Work includes but is not limited to: Installation of collection, conveyance, and treatment system for contaminated groundwater which emerges as seeps from below a bluff on the south side of Elmendorf AFB. There are four such contaminated seeps. Install gravel drainage layer and perforated collection pipes, stormwater diversion berms, a pump station at each seep area to collect and pump collected water to the headworks of the treatment system. Install access roads to each pump station and seep area. Excavation and remediation of contaminated soil. Install treatment system consisting of overland flow cell and a constructed wetland cell. Restore site complete with revegetation. A portion of this project is on Alaska Railroad property. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be available on or about 29 JAN 96 with a closing date of 29 FEB 96. Project is to be completed within 184 calendar days of the NTP. Package will be sent upon written request. There may be a cost to the package which will be determined prior to issuance. Request shall include size of business. This project is open to both Large and Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0016)
