This project involves all labor, materials, equipment, travel and performing all operations required to make necessary repairs, alterations, and carry out maintenance to Bldg. 1414 as per specifications and drawings. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to: Asbestos Removal, Rough and Finish Carpentry, Suspended Ceiling Installation, Drywall Installation/Finishing, Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Sprinklers, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Cable TV, and Master Antenna TV Systems. Execution of this contract will be phased. Separate, unit price contract line items will be included for Asbestos Abatement of Flooring and pipe insulation. There will be bid options for As-Built drawings on a Computer Aid Design System, Replacement of Chilled Water Handling units (pumps, etc.) and Replacement of Appliances. The performance period for this project shall be 240 calendar days. A separate performance period of 30 calendar days will be applied to the As-Built drawing CLIN. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a firm fixed price contract.
