66 -- FLOW CALIBRATION SYSTEM-3A ELECTRONICS SOL F33660-96-R7011 DUE 042296 POC Ruth Hughes, Contract Specialist, 614-522-7943. 66-The requirement is for a Flow Calibration System-3A Electronics for the Directorate of Metrology in accordance with Purchase Description 96MLEECLP03,35 each with extended 5 Year warranty and Data, with options for FY-97, 1 to 53 each and FY-98, 1 to 50 each. The purchase description discusses the performance, design, functional and environmental requirements for a FCS-3A upgrade to include computational electronics, and increase the flow range to 2000 LPM. The FCS-3A uses a simple differential pressure across a laminar element and temperature. Then calculate by hand the resulting flowrate in standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) using charted values for each laminar element. This purchase description shall provide the necessary computational electronics to automatically perform the flow computations, as well as provide an additional flow element to increase the flow range from 1000LPM to 2000 LPM.
