The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) wishes to procure approximately 9 Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers with battery packs, AC power supply, electrical cabling, software, spare parts and documentation. This equipment will be used for ocean current measurements on continental shelves. They will be used primarily in a bottom-mounted, upward-looking configuration, but may also be moored at mid-depth as either upward or downward looking profilers. Complete specifications will be included with the solicitation package. Prospective vendors should request, in writing, a copy of solicitation/RFP No. N00014-96-R-SE01.
