Smith, Contracting Officer. The United States Air Force has the intent to award a contract for the following: Future Test (AF-100-C Series) 28 each and Future Test (AF-600 Series) 13 each. The Air Force Library and Information Systems requires this computer based training (on CD-ROM) and 3.5'' diskette format) for customer checkout and internal library use on the following (a complete list will be identified in the solicitation) educational career preparatory tests: ACT, Anatomy: Structure & Systems, Armed Forces Tests (AFT/ASVAB), Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS), California Achievement Test (CAT), California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST), Catholic High School Entrance Examination (CHSEE), California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE), General Examinations (CLEP), Computer Programmer, Cosmetologist, Dental Admission Test (DAT), Dental Assistance, Dental Hygienist, Deputy Sheriff, Driver License Written Examinations Emergency, Officer Candidate School Admission Test (OCS), etc. The software must have a testing module (with review option) along with a report card module that keeps track of test scores for multiple students. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposed development phase of this acquisition.
