The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for service maintenance for a Hitachi H-9000 UHR transmission electron microscope. The requirement includes preventive maintenance and replacement of all non-consumable parts. Two preventive maintenance visits per year and an unlimited number of emergency service visits will be required. Performance will be at NRL for routine scheduled maintenance and emergency repair for three years, from 7/01/96 to 6/30/99. The Government intends to conduct negotiations with Hitachi Instruments, Inc., 44 Old Ridgebury Rd., Danbury, CT 06810-5106 under authority FAR 6.302. SEE Note 22.
