Pre Solicitation: Contractor will provide all materials, labor and supervision for the construction of a Composite Medical Training Facility at the 174th Fighter Wing, New York Air National Guard Base, Hancock Field, Syracuse, New York. The proposed project includes construction of a 10,500 square foot facility, site utilities, roadways, and parking lots. The project also includes the demolition of (2) two story buildings, 779 & 780, that are approximately 5,400 square feet each. Consideration should be made for the removal of asbestos and lead from the facilities to be demolished. Upon completion of the new facility a separate facility, building B-617 which is approximately 3,000 square feet will need interior office renovations. The magnitude of this proposed project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) is 1542. The work will be bid as a lump-sum, firm fixed price contract. The Anticipated performance time for this project is 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. IFB DAHA30-96-B-0002 will be issued on or about 20 January 1996 with a bid opening date on or about 22 February 1996. It is required that all firms requesting a solicitation package identify, in writing, whether they will be bidding as a prime or a sub-contractor and whether their firm is a large, small, emerging small, certified small disadvantaged, or certified 8(a).
