70 -- CASS ELECTRO-OPTICS+ LRIP UNITS SOL N00019-96-C-0063 POC Contact, Mark Diehl, Phone (703)604-2119 On a sole source basis to Martin Marietta Technologies Incorporated, Information Systems Company, 12506 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida 32825, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to procure Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Electro-Optics Subsystem+ (EOSS+) low rate intial production (LRIP) units, integration and testing with CASS Hybrid stations, and associated logistics support including ancillary equipment, support equipment, spares, etc. The CASS EO+ LRIP requirements will comprise approximately nine EOSS+ units integrated with Government Furnished CASS Hybrid stations. The contract will include an option for additional CASS EO+ LRIP requirements. Martin Marietta Technologies Inc. as the CASS designer, CASS developer and sole integrator of the CASS Hybrid station and EOSS+ test system is the only firm with the knowledge, experience in CASS production, technical data, data/patent rights, special tooling and test equipment to meet the Government's requirements within the timeframes required to meet critical fleet operational requirements.
