This is a modification of a synopsis appearing November 20, 1995. The FAA is interested in receiving technical and cost proposals on the aviation oriented broad area ice detection research effort described in the November 20, 1995 CBD announcement. This announcement remains open until May 16, 1996 or until cancelled or withdrawn. Before proposal preparation is intitiated, interested offerors shall obtain the publication ''Guidelines for Preparing Responses to FAA Broad Agency Announcement for Aircraft Broad Area Ice Detection R&D Program'', TCBAA-96-0001.
