Milner, (215)443-6221 This project includes design of a rigid frame clear span, pre-engineered metal warehouse building of 8,000 SF, with insulated walls and roof, interior lined walls, exterior windows, rolling doors, fire exit doors, electrical, heating, plumbing and fire protection and detection systems. The building will also contain a 500 SF air conditioned and finished office space with provisions for male and female sanitary facilities. The building shall be connected to the station's water, sewer, electrical and heating systems. The existing boiler located in building 22 shall be relocated to be part of the new facility. Parking space for loading trucks and employees shall be included as part of the project. This solicitation is unrestricted. The SIC codes are 8711 and 8712. Construction ECC is $100,000 to $500,000. Significant Evaluation Factors (in order of importance) 1. Specialized experience necessary for satisfactory performance of required services which would include multi-discipline experience for structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and architectural design. 2. Professional qualifications of the staff to be assigned for this contract (including those of any consultants) 3. Capacity of the assigned team to accomplish the work within the required time constraints. 4. Past performance with quality of work and compliance with performance schedules (emphasis on D.O.D. work). 5. Location of the firm in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project, provided that there is an appropriate number of qualified firms therein for consideration. 6. List the small or disadvantaged or woman-owned business firms used as primary consultants or as subconsultants. 7. Volume of work previously awarded to the firm by the Department of Defense. Type of contract: firm-fixed price. Estimated start date April, 1996. Estimated completion date June, 1996.
