Merrell (301) 975-6308, Pauline Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 Contractor shall provide the personnel, management, and supervision to conduct a comprehensive program of occupational medicine at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD. facility. Services shall include emergency treatment, preemployment physical examinations, fitness-for-duty examinations, preventative health screening, occupational health surveillance, employee health maintenance examinations, the administration of immunization/allergy shots, maintenance of health records, and employee health education. The NIST health unit is open during normal working hours Monday through Friday. Estimated annual hours are: 1 Physician: 624 hours, 2 Occupational Health Nurses: 4,000 hours, and 1 Medical Secretary: 2,000 hours. The anticipated period of performance is a base year and four 12-month option periods. Offerors will be evaluated on the following criteria: Qualifications and experience of personnel, technical approach, management capability, past performance, and price.
