Solicitations available on first come, first served basis. Work requirements consist of: Asbestos abatement, demolish existing building and perform all site demolition restoration work. Building is approximately a 60,000 SF wood framed structure with built-up roof, asbestos transite siding and concrete floor slab and foundation. Asbestos Abatement: 10%. Building Demolition: 88%. Site Restoration: 2%. Magnitude of Construction = $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Completion time = 60 Calendar days. This aquisition unrestricted. The approximate issue/response date will be 08 Feb 96. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
