Z -- MODIFICATIONS FOR 5'' AND 2'' AIR GUNS, BUILDING 154 Sol N62477-96-B-2506 due 022896. POC Mimi Malone POC; Contract Specialist, Lillian Suggs, 540-653-8571. The work includes preparation of Building 154 to accept the relocated 5'' air gun, 2'' air gun, 15,000 psi air compressor and control cabinet from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in White Oak, Maryland. The existing building, Building 154 at the NSWC Dahlgren, will require the addition of a new rooftop air conditioning unit for HVAC control. Building 154 will also require the addition of new insulated stud construction walls. An areaway will be created with new double doors at the end of the building. New electrical service shall be provided for the building along with any incidental related work. The total time for completion of this project is 150 calendar days. The estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated date for availability of plans and specifications is January 1996. This procurement is advertised on an unrestricted basis.
