requirement for the purchase of Integrated Marine Main Propulsion
Systems design, components, Provisioning Technical Documentation,
engineering documentation and spares in accordance with Coast Guard
drawings and specifications for U.S. Coast Guard 49 foot Stern Loading
Buoy Boat (BUSL). Major system components include, but are not limited
to: 1) Diesel engines with a minimum continuous duty rating of 305
brake horsepower each, complete with attached and unattached
accessories; 2) Reverse reduction gears with trolling capabilities; 3)
Propellers, Shafts, Shaft Bearings, Couplings and Seals; 4) Electronic
propulsion control system; 5) 24 volt propulsion engine driven
alternator rectifier assemblies with voltage regulators and
distribution panels; 6) Structural and airborne noise limiting
components; 7) Integrated system design, drawings, calculations and
reports; 8) Factory testing; and 9)Provisioning Technical
Documentation. Requirements type contract with four one-year option
periods. Various quantities. FOB Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard
Supply Center, Curtis Bay, Baltimore, MD 21226. Delivery shall be
required within 5 months after receipt of delivery order. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. For

Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short
term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The
maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further information and
