The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington has a requirement to procure commercial contract support for the Naval Security Station, Washington DC. The overall objective of this procurement is to finalize the Base Operating Services (BOS) contract incorporating new contract requirements, proposed operational needs, and the latest information from the BRAC schedule. This inititative is governed by the Navy Commercial Activities program, and represents the conversion of Navy civilian and military positions to contract support. This requirement includes but is not limited to the development of the contract solicitation ( sections B through M), a quality assurance plan with surveillance guides which will incorporate the performance requirements summary developed in the solititation, and third, a cost estimate of the BOS contract. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside to be awarded on a low cost technically acceptable basis. A CPFF contract is anticipated. The SIC code for this requirement is 8999.
