Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID 83415-3805; a management and operating contractor for the Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) is presenting a potential cooperative research and development and licensing opportunity. LMIT has an established plasma arc welding technology development program and is interested in extending this effort to develop new technologies for welding under hyperbaric conditions. LMIT is soliciting a written indication of interest from industry partners who would consider entering into cooperative research and licensing agreements. Participants will be expected to provide technical expertise and have the financial and organizational structure to financially support the project and to participate in the commercialization of the technology. This is not an opportunity to provide good services to LMIT or the Department of Energy. This solicitation will close to response 14 days after publication.
