This project is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 0783, Ornamental Shrub and Tree Services. The size standard is $3.5 Million. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, equipment and supervision required to perform general tree maintenance to include cutting, topping, trimming, and pruning of specified trees and shrubs, removing stumps, clearing right of ways and shoulders. All services to be performed at the Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice for an additional period of one to twelve months. The total duration of this contract including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The projected date for availability of solicitations is 02 Feb 96. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the Facility Support Contracts Office, Southeast corner, Building 2034, Quantico, Virginia. The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per Contractor. Requests for plans and specifications and bidders list should be made separately to avoid confusion.
