POC Submit letter stating services/aircraft available and requesting solicitation to HQ AMC/DOKAS, 402 Scott Drive Unit 3A1, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5302. Air transportation services utilizing contractor-furnished, IFR-equipped, multi-engine, pressurized turbine aircraft for the movement of courier material and two military couriers. The aircraft must have a door with an inner opening of at least 32'' in width to permit easy loading and unloading of containers. Maximum container measurements are 42'' L x 26.5'' W x 23'' H. Aircraft must contain sufficient space to allow storage of the containers without jamming or damaging the contents. One solicitation will be issued with separate awards being made for each of six routes. The following lists the routes, maximum weight of cargo and couriers, and the number of containers to be carrier: (1) Travis AFB CA and San Diego International airport CA, 3,500 pounds, and 8 containers, (2) Kelly AFB TX, 3,500 pounds, and 8 containers, (3) Colorado Springs International airport CO, 2,500 pounds, and 6 containers, (4) Wright-Patterson AFB OH, 2,500 pounds, and 6 containers, (5) Jacksonville NAS FL and Norfolk NAS VA, 2,500 pounds, and 6 containers, (6) McGuire AFB NJ, 2,500 pounds, and 6 containers. The period of performance is 1 October, 1996 through 30 September, 1997 with two 1-year option periods and a six-month extension clause. Solicitation F11626-96-R0004 will close on or about 3 May 1996. Offers will not be considered unless the offeror is an air taxi carrier within the meaning of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 (19 U.S.C. 1301) as amended.
