On or about Monday, January 22, 1996 the United States Postal Service, Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT, 06006-0300, will issue Solicitation No. 082530-96-A-0034 for parking lot expansion, mailing platform addition and renovations at the Main Post Office, 113 Penobscot Avenue, Millinocket, Maine. Sealed offers are due Friday, February 23, 1996 no later than 4:00 p.m. Work shall be started within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and completed within ninety (90) calendar days. The estimated cost of the work is between $125,000.00 and $225,000.00. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. There will be a preproposal conference held on site (Main Post Office, 113 Penobscot Avenue, Millinocket) at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 6, 1996 to discuss the specifics of this project. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. Work includes but is not limited to providing all materials, labor and equipment to construct an adition, enclose the existing loading dock and expand the existing parking lot.
