17 -- 17-ELEVATION AND ANZIMUTH RADOMES SOL N00421-96-R-5008 DUE 020296 POC Theresa Newbold, Contract Specialist, (301) 342-1825 (ext.113); Doris Browder, Contracting Officer. 17-The Navy has a requirement for the procurement of Elevation and Azimuth Radomes with Windows and associated production tooling; Elevation and Azimuth Window Assemblies and associated production tooling which will be installed on CV, CVN, LHA and LHD class ships. The radomes will provide landing approach guidance information needed to align an aircraft and maintain glide slope during the landing approach onto a ship's deck. The time and place for viewing applicable specifications and drawings will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation. It is anticipated that this requirement will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract which will be effective for five years after date of award. The minimum/maximum quantities required are projected to be as follows: Base Year: Elevation and Azimuth Radomes with Windows (Min Qty 3 each/Max Qty 5 each); Elevation and Azimuth Radome and Window Tooling (Min/Max Qty 1 each); within year Option for Elevation and Azimuth (Min Qty 1 each/Max Qty 3 each)///Option Years 2-4: Elevation and Azimuth Radomes with Windows (Min Qty 1 each year/Max Qty 3 each year); within year options (Min/Max Qty 1 each year).
