The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for one ISS 1000 Subscan Integrated Sidescan/Sub-bottom Profiler/Magnetometer System, OR EQUAL. The system shall consist of: (1) subscan hydrodynamic towbody system; (2) digital control unit; (3) topside processing system (2 each), to include both hardware and software; (4) full spectrum sub-bottom profiler software; (5) navigation/ reflection software; (6) subscan data transmission/tow cables; (7) magnetometer system consisting of magnetometer, interface to sidescan and topside processing system; (8) towfish pressure sensor; (9) coverage view software; (10) mapping software; (11) print view software; (12) workstation playback capability; (13) dual mass storage; (14) realtime display capability; and (15) spare parts. Complete specifications shall be included in solicitation. All prospective vendors should request in writing a copy of solicitation N00014-96-R-PL01.
