COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JANUARY 24,1996 PSA#1516Lockheed Martin Idaho Technologies, P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID
83415-3805 A -- BIOLOGICAL SEPARATION OF PHOSPHATE FROM ORE Contact Mr. Ron Bopp.
Lockheed Martin Idaho Technologies (LMIT), P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls,
ID 83415-3805; a management and operating contractor for the
Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory
(INEL) is seeking research partners to perform cooperative research
with LMIT. LMIT has developed and patented a bioprocess for the
separation of phosphate from its rock. This process has the potential
of supplementing or replacing current phosphate production processes by
providing lower production cost while decreasing undesirable waste
products. LMIT is seeking partners who are currently producing products
directly from phosphate ores (e.g. phosphate ore, chemical or food
grade phosphorus) who would scale the bioprocess to pilot production.
The process can be used in a continuous extraction of phosphate rock
when applied to soil or in bead form to accommodate the needs of
phosphate fertilizer application. Participants must provide evidence of
organizational structure and financial resources necessary to
commercialize transferred technology. This is not a solicitation for
government contract. This request for interest will close to response
21 days after publication. Send required information to: Mr. Ron Bopp,
Technology Transfer Office, LMIT, P.O. Box 1625, 2525 N. Fremont,
Idaho Falls, ID 83415-3805. (018) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0009 19960123\A-0009.SOL)
