The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Operational Support Division, Office of Information Systems, intends to procure on-site Federal Information Processing (FIP) support services, as well as other related technical services on a fixed price IDIQ basis. A minimum of eight (8) full-time contractor provided employees will be required for on-site FIP technical support services at DEA Headquarters. In addition, separate task order/delivery order requirements will be executed on an as-needed basis in the functional areas of: Data Base Administration, Information Resources Management (IRM) Support Services, Special FIP Studies and Related Services, Telecommunications, Life Cycle Management Guidelines and other FIP related activities. The proposed contract period includes a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. All Contractor employees working on the Government site shall be subject to a DEA background security investigation. It is estimated that the solicitation will be issued to all qualified interested parties on or about March 1, 1996. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for certified 8(a) firms. The Government may elect to award a single delivery order contract or task order contract or to award multiple delivery order contracts or task order contracts for the same or similar services to two or more sources under this solicitation.
