The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake, CA, intends to exercise Option 1, CLIN 0004 to Contract N68936-95-D-0271 Weapons Systems Support Activities (WSSA) Technical Support Services with CTA, Incorporated, 6116 Executive Blvd, Suite 800, Rockville, MD 20852 on an Other than Full and Open Competition Basis. The period of performance for the option is from 1 April 96 - 31 May 96 for a total estimated 76,700 labor hours, which spans the period needed to transition to a new four year competitively awarded contract. The current bridge contract was awarded on a sole source basis to CTA, Inc. for the period 1 Oct 95 - 31 Mar 96 to provide technical support services for computer systems embedded within Naval tactical aircraft, airborne weapons systems, related support equipment, and the ground-based test laboratories, simulators, and trainers incorporating simulations of such systems. Navy airborne attack weapons systems currently assigned to China Lake are the A-6, F/A-18, AV-8B, and AH-1 weapons systems. No RFP will be issued.
