PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Project consists of new construction, replacement, demolition, and resurfacing of roadways, parking, water system, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, electrical distribution, street lighting, curb and gutter, sidewalk and other roadway elements to include landscaping. The Project is on the Utah Air National Guard Base located at the Salt Lake City International Airport. Since the project will virtually involve the entire base (134 acres) a phased construction plan and previous experience will be required. It is imperative during the construction period all military and related activities not be adversely affected. Therefore, the phased plan as indicated in the project specifications shall be strictly adhered to. Documented Contractor experience will include ten years of like construction emphasizing strong supervision and subcontractor management. Review of past work demonstrating the use of a daily on-site superintendent will be referenced. This project will require a mandatory site visit prior to submitting bid. This project is to be bid as unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this office are requested from all interested business concerns. Magnitude is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The performance period is 365 calendar days. Bid packages will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis to prime contractors only until supply is exhausted. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 10 February at a cost of $100.00 (non-refundable) per set. The $100.00 is to accompany your request and be in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or money order payable to the ``Treasurer of the United States''. All requests shall be in writing.
