Scope of work: The general Scope of Work involves the renovation, repair and cleaning of significant portions of the exterior facade of the Waterbury CT Processing and Distribution Center. The repairs and cleaning generally involve the marble facade of a building constructed about 1935. Specifically the work includes the following: Repair of ornamental bronze fretwork around windows; Repair of marble tympani over entrance doors; Reconstruction and repair of entrance stairs; Cleaning copper staining from facade; Repointing portions of the facade; General cleaning of large portions of the building facade; Repainting of windows and grilles; Installation of ornamental fence and gate and Replacement of foundation plantings. The estimated price range is between $150,000 and $200,000 with completion required within 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
