This part must be in accordance with NAVAIR drawing 1882AS1001, no revisions. The required quantity is 16 each for the base year and no more than 128 for the option periods. A first article will be required from any contractor who has not furnished this item previously. The following are a few requirements of the amplifier: Operating Temperature: shall be -5 to 50 degree C; Storage Temperature: shall be -40 to 50 degree C; Soldering: in accordance with MIL-STD-2000A; Weight: shall not exceed 8 ounces; Frequency Range: 6.0 to 18.0 GHz minimum; Gain: shall be 30 +/- 5 dB; Gain Flatness: +/- 2 dB maximum; Noise Figure: 4.5 dB maximum; Ouput Power: +12 dBm minimum at the 1 dB gain compression point; VSWR: input and output shall be 2.0:1.0 maximum; Input Voltage: +15 +/- 3 VDC; Input Current: 250 mA maximum. The Navy's Red/Yellow/Green Quality Program will be in effect. Delivery of first article shall be within 150 days after date of contract award with the production units being delivered within 180 days after approval of first article.
