35824-6405 70 -- ORACLE CORPORATION NETWORK SERVER OPTION LICENSE AGREEMENT SOL
ATD-124-TA-95/1639 POC Contact Tom Antoniel, (205)544-5087 CSC intends
to negotiate only with Oracle Corporation for the conversion of
existing Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Oracle software licenses
into a Network Server Option (NSO) License Agreement. This NSO
agreement will convert all existing Oracle licenses to a 16 platform
environment for the following license/concurrent user (c) or named user
(n) configuration: Oracle7 RDBMS (450c), SQL*Net TCP/IP (450c), DECNET
(16c), TextServer3 w/Context (64c), Developer 2000 or CDE Tools Bundle
(20n), Pro*C (10n), Pro*Cobol (10n), and Pro*Fortran (10n). This
agreement will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one (1)
year optional periods and allow for the inclusion of new OEM licensed
products or changes in the users and/or platform bases at pre-agreed
to pricing. The agreement will also provide for software maintenance
support for the current license configuration and any
license/user/platform adjustments made over the course of the agreement
at pre-agreed to pricing. Interested persons have 15 days from the date
of publication of this synopsis to submit their
qualifications/capabilities/ (i.e., technical specifications,
brochures, and price list with proposed discounts) in the critical
areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/capabilities/and pricing
(with discounts) will be used solely for the purpose of determining
whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
Responses received without the required information may be considered
non-responsive to the synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable
in response to this synopsis. A determination by CSC not to compete
this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based
upon responses to the synopsis, is solely within the discretion of CSC.
CSC reserves the right to make a split award on the basis of this
