A -- VENDOR SOLICITATION The Institute of Textile Technology has information packages available concerning the solicitation of vendor affiliates for the AMTEXTM Partnership TReC project. The AMTEXTM Partnership is a consortium of the integrated American textile industry (from fiber to retailer) and the U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratories. The mission of the AMTEXTM Partnership is to enhance the global competitiveness of the American textile industry. The Textile Resource Conservation (TReC) project is focused on developing technologies to reduce waste and enhance materials utilization in the manufacture of textiles. Vendors are solicited who are interested in commercializing a new fabric washing technology. Vendors are also solicited who are interested in commercializing membrane related technology to enhance dye and chemical recovery.
