The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to procure, through the 8(a) competitive program, maintenance and technical support services under SIC code 7379. The maintenance and technical support services will be provided for the Chief, Army Reserve Decision Support System (CARDSS) located in the National Capitol Region (Pentagon, 1700 North Moore Street and 1815 North Ft. Myer Drive, Rosslyn VA.); U.S. Army Reserve Personnel Center (ARPERCEN), St. Louis MO.; and the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) in Atlanta, GA.. The scope of the maintenance and technical support services will require the contractor to operate and maintain an Information Center for the CARDSS. This includes providing supervisory, administrative support, maintenance, training, and graphic assistance. Key personnel required for performance of the stated support services include one Project Manager/Information Center Manager, one Wide Area Network (WAN) Tech Manager, two WAN Asst Tech Manager, one Local Area Network (LAN)/WAN Tech Manager, two Certified Network Engineers (CNE), and one Network Hardware Engineer (CNE). General personnel required for performance of the stated services include one Maintenance Tech (Lead), One Maintenance Tech, one Product Tech (Lead), one Product Tech, and one Graphics Tech. The contract type is an Fixed Price Requirement Type Contract with a base year and three (3) option years. The proposed acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns who qualify under SIC 7379.
