F -- ON-CALL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES Sol RG-01-96, POC Contracting Officer, Gary Scales. TVA intends to obtain the following professional services of three or more qualified contractors by Competitive Negotiation: On-Call, IDIQ contracts for environmental support for a broad mix of environmental assessments; project development and evaluation; RCRA, CERCLA and NEPA environmental impact process and engineering support. Description of Services Requested: Services will be acquired by individual Task Orders and may include aquatic biology, air quality, surface and ground water quality, wastewater treatment, solid and hazardous materials and waste management, analytical services for analysis of environmental samples, water supply and geo-hydrologic services. Other activities could include the evaluation of new environmental regulations, documentation of existing environmental conditions in the vicinity of project sites, determining the potential environmental impacts of proposed projects or programs, regulatory and permit-related documents (such as permit applications, environmental impact analyses, best available control technology determinations), identifying potential waste sources and necessary waste treatment schemes to meet regulatory requirements, conducting unit operations studies to characterize wastes and evaluate potential treatment schemes, determining concentration of environmental pollutants by approved methodologies and quality assurance techniques, sedimentation analyses, preparing air pollution emission inventories, supplying environmental monitoring services, site remediation development plans, and threatened and endangered species services, floodplain studies and related work. Services will be provided at multiple sites including Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and other TVA facilities, plants and field locations. TVA expects to make multiple awards of this contract with no guaranteed minimum. TVA anticipates the resulting contracts will be for a 2-year period. Total cost for this work inclusive of all contractors is estimated not to exceed Eight Million dollars ($8,000,000) over the entire life of the contract period.
