Tree Planting - This project consists of auger planting approximately 187,000 bareroot Ponderosa Pine and Douglas fir seedlings plus approximately 15,000 containerized Douglas fir seedling. Planting areas will be located in 2 or 3 different areas on the Powell Ranger District, Dixie National Forest. All units consist of planting below overstory trees. Average spacing will range from 6-12 feet. Handscalping to a 24 in. area. Moving natural shade material for seeding protection. This project is a 100% set aside for small business. (022)
