material, tooling, test equipment, and facilities to rework 5 inner
midframes for the ATF-3 turbofan engine used on the HU25 aircraft, NSN
2840-01-HR1-5326, P/N 3003085-2. Delivery to ARSC, Elizabeth City, NC
or other operating units as directed is desired within 90 days and
required within 120 calendar days after receipt of component. The Coast
Guard intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with the
manufacturer, AlliedSignal Inc., 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ
85072-2181, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. All rework data and
specifications are proprietary to the manufacturer and are not
available through the Coast Guard. All responsible sources may submit
an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for this
solicitation must be in writing. Telephone requests will not be
honored. See notes 22 and 26. NOTICE: This Notice is for informational
