Furnish comprehensive and/or supplemental medical care for the delivery of necessary health care services to inmates incarcerated at the Federal Medical Center, a prison hospital, in Rochester, Minnesota including: medical, surgical, psychiatric care in community health care facilities. These services shall be consistent with the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons' and other Federal Policies that affect the delivery of health care services. Services will be required for the base period of 01 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97, with four option periods; period #1 01 Oct 97 - 30 Sept 98, period #2 01 Oct 98 - 30 Sept 99, period #3 01 Oct 99 - 30 Sept 2000, and period #4, 01 Oct 2000 - 30 Sept 2001. RFP 127-0089 will be available on approximately 15 Feb 96. The government does not intend to use FAR Part 12 for this acquisition.
